Call for Partnership – Join Us in Strengthening Healthcare Worker Wellbeing in Nigeria

We are inviting partners and collaborators to join us in the next phase of our Healthcare Worker (HCW) Burnout and Wellbeing Project in Nigeria.

Following the successful completion of the first nationwide survey on HCW burnout, we are moving into a critical phase of key informant interviews, consortium building, and co-development of sustainable, system-level solutions to address burnout and promote wellbeing in Nigeria’s health workforce.

Despite growing global attention to healthcare worker resilience, Nigeria currently lacks a formal national guideline or coordinated strategy to tackle this challenge. We believe the time to act is now—and we can’t do it alone.

We are seeking collaboration with:

  • Healthcare institutions and professional bodies.
  • State and federal ministries of health
  •  Academic and research institutions
  • Health policy makers and influencers
  • Development partners, funders, and NGOs
  • Frontline health workers and community advocates

Together, we can:

  • Co-create evidence-based interventions for HCW wellbeing
  • Develop best practice policy templates
  • Pilot scalable, low-resource support strategies
  • Build a national stakeholder network for shared learning and advocacy
